These baskets were the results of experiments trying out different patterns and techniques for twining.
I used as many different recycled and repurposed materials as possible in Caribbean colours.

They include sisal rope, polypropylene string, recycled telephone wire, paper twine, sticks wrapped with dyed silk threads, plastic plant ties, strips of jersey fabric and wool roving.
Telephone wires are made into balls to decorate one of the baskets.
